Sunday was all about daddies! How special! Chloe is very blessed to have Brandon as her dad! He absolutely adores her and would give her the moon if possible! He works very hard to give her the best life possible. And I don't mean he works for money to buy her things. He strives to always be there for her- even if it means coming to her school play even though he really should have been working! :) Chloe was so excited about it being fathers day. She kept singing Happy fathers day like it was his birthday! They are so cute together. Brandon was talking the other day about maybe taking her to see Eclipse- the third movie in the Twilight series! Daddy/daughter date! Sunday morning I made breakfast. And let me tell you, it was not the day for trial and error when it comes to making something new! I made these little muffin cups with eggs, bacon and cheese in them. Well, technically they weren't cups since they didn't fit in my muffin pan. Evidently, I needed a bigger pan. So I thought it would be a good idea just to lay the english muffins flat in a baking dish and pray that the eggs stayed on top of the muffins and then wrap the bacon around. Well, that didn't work out so well either. The muffins got soggy and I don't eve know if the eggs got completely cooked all the way! And I think I was supposed to buy precooked bacon and I bought regular! Yea, not a good start to the morning. But we survived and Brandon ate the muffins like a good husband :) After breakfast, I made Brandon one of his favorite desserts so we could have it after dinner. Really, it's one of my faves too, so it's a win-win situation! Anyway, the dessert was a pumpkin swirl cheesecake!! Ahh! Sounds so good, right?! It was made completely from scratch. Even the crust. It was just crumbled gingersnaps and butter, but still. I suck at making homemade crusts. Usually I buy pre-made ones. But you can't with this one. It calls to be baked in a spring form pan. So anyway, the cheesecake turned out delicious like I prayed it would but I'm sorry to report I don't have any pictures of said cheesecake. We cut into it before we thought about it! We had a yummy dinner at Chart House. One of our favorite upscale restaurants. We have been to the one in Savannah, Ga a couple times and were excited to find out there is one not too far from here! Brandon gets the same thing every time he goes there and this time was no different. A ounce Callahan cut Prime rib that could be cut with a butter knife. It just melts in your mouth! I never get it because it's way expensive and too much steak for me! But I always get a nibble :) I always get fresh fish and this time I got mahi mahi- grilled. It wasn't so good but I ate it because it was $30! ha ha! They no longer carry my most favorite dish: Snapper Hemingway. It's snapper fish and with lump crab meat on top. OMG it's to die for! Snapper has gotten too expensive so they quit carrying it because I guess no one would want to pay more than $30 for it. I'm pretty sure that's what I paid for it the last time. It's a ginormous portion and I would love to have it again! Maybe in my dreams! ha ha! Anyway... here are some pictures from Brandon's special day!
Chloe was so excited to show her daddy what she made for him :)

And a special picture edit :)
