As you can tell from the title, we got some great news! One of my best friends, Michelle, is coming for a visit!! I haven't seen her, Tommy and the girls since they moved in April. I know it's only been a couple months but we all miss each other terribly! Tommy has to do some Marine Corps work here on Parris Island and they all get to come. She had texted me telling me that they were going to try and come down during the July 4 '96' but weren't for sure how long Tommy would have off. It would have been perfect because of course Chloe's birthday is 7/5 and their anniversary is 7/3! I hate that they can't be here for her party but at least they are coming! They will be here on Sunday, which happens to be Father's Day. I think they are leaving the following Saturday! We're going to celebrate Chloe's birthday early while the 7 of us are together! We are beyond excited that they are coming! It'll be so much fun. She's preggo and is finding out the gender [hopefully if baby cooperates] on Friday 6/19 so that means a shopping trip to Bluffton! yay! Our favorite past time! lol.
Other than that, nothing much has been going on. Chloe went to her friend, Brianna's birthday party on Sat. 6/13 and we all had the greatest time! Then it was off to the movies! She saw Hannah Montana [again!] and ate pizza! While she was there, Brandon and I headed to Bluffton to birthday shop for Chloe. She's such a sneak and always eventually finds out everything she's getting for her birthday and Christmas. I'm going to have to be more creative when I hide these things! We went to Target and got her a few books, a game and some Nerf guns! I know, not girly in the slightest, but she loves that stuff! Really it just means that her and Brandon will be running around the house shooting me! Then we had dinner with Tony and Jessica Sferlazzo [Brandon and Tony work together]. We went to Paulie's Pizza at Sea Turtle! It was yummy!
Sunday we borrowed our friends park pass and went to Hunting Island Beach. It's out past Ladys Island. We've lived here over 2 years and I'd never been until Sunday. We had a great time. Chloe loved the beach. I got some sun so I was excited about that! We had a really great weekend! Hope to have a few more like that before Brandon has surgery. It's about 4 weeks away. We're for sure planning a day trip to the zoo in Columbia. We've not been to that zoo. Hopefully we don't pick the hottest or wettest day to go! :) Have a great week!
